QUIITO

Founded in 2023 by designer Mayu Komura, QUIITO regenerates vintage denim and military wear through patchwork and redesign. Working like a sculptor, Komura shapes each piece by hand in her Japanese atelier, combining constraints, rules, and chance to create garments that cannot be realised through drawing alone. Every item is one of a kind, with colours and patchwork combinations that vary. The name QUIITO derives from “kiito” (raw silk), reflecting an admiration for the strength and beauty of natural colours and textures, and a commitment to cherishing raw materials and resources.
